First Christian Church























First Christian Church was established in Augusta in 1835 and relocated to its current location on the corner of Greene and McIntosh Streets in 1874. Restoration of the structure began in 1989.

    A beautiful church with an impressive steeple. My compliments to your blog, I have been in Georgia a very long time ago, but not in Augusta. It seems that I missed something...

    I have lived in Augusta for just a short time and I find that searching out content for this blog helps me learn about the City and its history. Thanks for your comment.
